Leon and Cisca work from Ibadan in south west Nigeria. There is no traditional motif on this pair and the studio does not pretend otherwise. The connection to Africa here is the maker, and the idea is their own: a button that spent its working life holding a shirt closed, given a second life at the ear.

A handmade drop earring built on a fuchsia pink button, with a pale pink rose and small green leaves hanging below it on gold tone wire.
