Handmade, so the buttons and the bead placement vary slightly from the set photographed. The necklace cord length is not published here because the figure given by the maker does not match the photograph. Please ask if the exact length matters to you.
There is no print or motif on this set and it does not claim one. It is Nigerian in the ordinary way that matters: designed and assembled in Ibadan, from buttons, by a maker who prints their own cards with NIGERIA on them. Making jewellery out of buttons is also quietly the point. It takes the cheapest thing in the sewing box and asks a buyer to look at it properly.

A two piece set in pale yellow: a button pendant ringed with small pearl beads on a waxed cord necklace, and a pair of small translucent amber stud earrings to wear with it. It is a set, at the price most shops charge for one earring, and that is the argument. The pieces are deliberately not matched too tightly: the pendant is opaque and solid, the studs are see through and catch the light, so wearing both does not read as a matching set from a gift box. EHC stands for the earring that heard the conversation, which is the maker's idea for the whole line: a button spends its working life holding clothes together, and here it is moved up to the ear and the collarbone, where it listens instead. The necklace fastens with a lobster clasp and has an extender chain, so it can be worn tight at the throat or dropped lower. The pearl beads are set into the face of the button rather than strung around it, so nothing catches on a collar. Keep the cord dry and take the set off before swimming.
