Product description
Overview
Can we go back? If there is one thing this series has taught me, it is that there is a way through, even when the way is away. Adulthood took the freedom, the genuineness, the willingness to love without guarding myself. And still I found I could begin again. I learned that I could enjoy my childhood a second time, now, as a grown man. This piece pushed me to soften my heart, to make room for the childlike part of myself again, and to let the world be nothing more complicated than colour. Her face is built from hand painted blocks of blue and coral, a pixel mosaic that only settles into a girl once you step back. This is the final piece in the series of six.
