A floor length Ankara bubu gown with a stone embellished panel running down the centre front, embellishment at the neckline and across the sleeve edges. Cut wide and loose through the body with slits at both sides, so it moves with you rather than holding you in. The bubu is one of the few silhouettes that does formal without doing tight. No waistband, no fastening to fight with, nothing that stops working after a long meal. It reads as dressed up because of the embellishment and the length, not because it is restrictive. Available in two prints: a green Ankara with a dense repeating pattern, and a brown Ankara scattered with multicoloured circular motifs. Both carry the same embellished centre panel and neckline. Wear it for owambe, weddings, introductions, church, Eid or Christmas, or any evening where you want to arrive finished.
