Made by a Kenyan workshop that works in glass seed beads, the small beads sold across Kenya as Maasai beads. Each spiral is built bead by bead and stitched down onto the leather, the same hand technique the store uses across its range of beaded sandals.

Flat black leather gladiator sandals beaded in bright yellow spirals. Yellow glass seed beads are stitched into rows of round spiral medallions that run from the toe post up the front of the leg, with two beaded bands of medallions wrapping the ankle and the lower shin. Two plain black leather straps cross the forefoot, the sole is flat black leather, and the upper ties at the back with black leather laces, so you can set how firmly it sits on the leg. One colour, top to bottom: no mixed palette to match, which makes this the pair to wear with denim, white linen or a plain black dress.
