Made by a Kenyan workshop that works in glass seed beads, the small beads sold across Kenya as Maasai beads. Every petal and medallion is built bead by bead and stitched down onto the leather by hand, the technique the store uses across its whole range of beaded sandals.

Flat black leather gladiator sandals with a rainbow beaded flower at the ankle. Glass seed beads in red, blue, yellow, orange, green and white are stitched into a large flower of teardrop petals that sits at the front of the ankle, with a column of beaded teardrop medallions running from it down to the toe post. Two plain black leather straps cross the forefoot and the sole is flat black leather, so the pair walks like an everyday flat while the beadwork does the talking. Each petal is ringed in several colours, so the pair picks up almost anything you wear it with, from white linen to denim. If you would rather have one colour from top to bottom, the store's Yellow Beaded Gladiator Sandals keep to a single shade. Available in US sizes 4 to 14. Handmade in Kenya.
