You are buying the original signed painting, not a print, and there is one. It ships rolled in a tube, unstretched and unframed. Photos 2 and 3 are close details of her face and of the signature. Colours can look slightly different on screen.
Carrying water and goods in a pot balanced on the head is a daily task for women across much of Africa, and the poise it takes has long been a subject for painters. Here the artist dresses her in hoops, beads and a head wrap and closes her eyes, so the work reads as calm rather than labour.

An original painting of an African woman carrying a pot on her head, in sepia browns. She walks with her eyes closed and a faint smile, one arm raised to steady the pot, wearing a striped head wrap, large hoop earrings, a beaded necklace, bangles and a beaded waist. The artist works in aciduro watercolour on canvas, letting the pigment bleed, drip and spatter, then drawing fine lines over it, so the piece sits between figurative and semi abstract. It measures 22 x 30 inches, about 56 x 76cm, and is signed and dated LEXIS 2009 at the lower right. If you like the medium but want something smaller, the artist's Village Girl, Morning Duties is painted the same way at 7 x 10 inches. The canvas ships rolled in a tube, unstretched and unframed, so allow for stretching or framing. Keep it out of direct sun, which fades watercolour, and dust it gently with a soft dry brush.
