Adire is the resist dyed cloth of the Yoruba of south west Nigeria, made by blocking parts of the fabric before dyeing so the pattern stays behind. LUMMY ATELIER cuts it here into a modern peplum blouse and pairs it with plain trousers in the same green.

The blouse is green Adire patterned with rust and red spirals, cut with short cap sleeves, a round neck and a fitted bodice that flares into a peplum falling to points at the sides. The trousers are a plain deep green that picks up the ground of the print, high waisted and wide through the leg to the floor, so the set reads as one long line in the photos.
