Stuck Mixed Media Painting

STUCK captures the quiet confusion that comes from too many competing voices rather than a lack of options. The figure is suspended between culture, society, and personal truth pressures that speak loudly enough to drown out the self. This state of being stuck is subtle: constant thinking without movement, awareness without clarity, and the tension of knowing something is wrong but not knowing what to change. The work reflects how mental health struggles often begin with confusion questioning whether emotions are weakness, fear, exhaustion, or growth while cultural expectations about success, strength, and identity continue to weigh heavily. STUCK represents an internal pause: the moment self-awareness begins but direction has not yet formed. It is not a story of failure, but of recognition giving visibility to those trying to understand themselves in a world that insists on defining them.
