Pearl Twist Necklace, Green and White, Handmade Kenya

A handmade rope necklace of white pearl beads wrapped in green glass seed beads that spiral all the way round it, finished with a silver tone clasp. A fresh, bright piece for a white shirt, a summer dress or a green outfit that wants a finishing touch. The green beads are translucent, so light passes through them and they glow rather than sit flat, which is the one thing this colourway does that the others do not. Two green lines wind around the pearls with finer pale beads between them, and the necklace sits close and full at the base of the neck. It fastens with a silver tone lobster clasp, with a small bead cap at each end of the rope and a short extender chain finished with a ball, all visible in the first photograph, so it can sit a little higher or lower. The same twist is also made in pink and white, and in black and white. Care: keep it dry and away from perfume, and store it laid flat or loosely coiled so the spiral keeps its shape.
