Harmony, Drummers Oil Painting

An original oil on canvas painting of three drummers playing upright drums. Three smiling men in wrapped caps and long robes of red, ochre and sky blue lean into the beat, beaded necklaces swinging, a pair of sticks in every hand. The middle drum is painted a bright green, and the background is a loose swirl of green, yellow, red and blue that makes the whole scene feel as if it is moving. The painter describes it as a painting from the mind, a picture of joy and rhythm rather than a portrait of particular people. It is signed by the artist in the lower right corner. This is one painting, so there is only one available. The canvas ships unframed. To care for it, hang it away from direct sunlight and damp, and dust it gently with a soft dry cloth.
