Orange Button Hoop Earrings, Amber Drop, Handmade

A handmade earring built on an orange button, with a large gold tone hoop below it and a faceted amber drop hanging inside the hoop. These earrings belong to EHC, The Earring That Heard The Conversation. The buttons once held clothes together and now sit by the ear, listening in. That is the whole idea of the piece, something ordinary moved to where it can be noticed. This is the one to pick if you want size. The hoop is wide enough to sit clear of the jaw and the amber drop swings inside it as you move, so the earring keeps catching the light instead of hanging still. Orange and gold against plain black or white is the easiest way to wear it. About 7cm long including the hoop. Made by hand in Ibadan, Nigeria. Keep it away from perfume and water, and store it flat.
