You are buying the original signed painting, not a print, and there is one. The artist says it ships rolled in a tube and unframed, while photo 3 shows the canvas standing against a wall with some depth at its edge, so please message the seller before ordering if you need it to arrive ready to hang. Photo 2 is a close detail. Colours can look slightly different on screen.
Drumming and dancing go together at celebrations across Ghana, where the drum leads and the dancers answer. Alex Mensah, who signs as Lexis, paints that moment from behind a screen of circles the artist calls bubbles of joy, the shared happiness that music spreads through a community.

An original acrylic painting on canvas, 10 by 14 inches, signed Lexis. Rows of pale circles, each ringed in yellow and lit with a white highlight, cover the whole canvas, and behind them a figure the artist describes as a drummer, with dancers around him, comes through in red, plum, orange and green. The artist calls the circles bubbles of joy, rising through the picture like laughter and the good feeling that spreads when music brings people together. Choose it if you like a picture that reveals itself slowly: the figure resolves as you stand back. It is one of a kind, not a print, and ships unframed. Painted by hand in Ghana. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from damp.
