Sokofa Partner Terms

1. What the programme is

Sokofa Partners lets you earn commission when people buy on sokofa.com through your personal link. Taking part is free. You are an independent partner, not an employee, agent or representative of Sokofa, and you must not present yourself as one.

2. How you earn

You earn 5% of what the buyer pays for the items in an order placed through your link, after any discounts. Delivery charges, gift wrapping and taxes do not earn commission.

An order counts as yours when the buyer followed your link (sokofa.com/r/yourname, or a Sokofa page with ?via=yourname) and the order was placed within 30 days, provided no other partner's link was used in between. If the buyer has not accepted marketing cookies, the order must be placed in the same browser session. We cannot credit orders we are unable to track.

Buyers who arrive through a partner link do not receive Sokofa's first order or set discounts; the partner commission is paid instead. Do not tell your audience that they will get a discount. Sokofa may also set a maximum commission per order, shown in your partner dashboard.

Sokofa may change the commission rate for future orders at any time. Orders already placed keep the rate that applied when they were placed.

3. Orders that do not earn commission

• Your own orders, or orders for you, your household or your delivery address.
• Orders that are cancelled, refunded or never delivered. Partial refunds reduce the commission.
• Orders made using fake accounts, stolen payment details, or any other abuse.

4. When and how you are paid

Commission becomes ready to pay 30 days after the items are delivered, so returns can be settled first. We pay monthly once your ready balance is £20 or more, to the UK, Nigerian or other bank account you add in your partner dashboard. Payments to non UK accounts may be converted to local currency by our payment provider at its exchange rate.

You are responsible for declaring your earnings and paying any tax due on them where you live.

5. How you may promote Sokofa

• Clearly label every post, video or message that contains your link as an advert, for example with #ad at the start, as the UK Advertising Standards Authority (CAP Code) requires.
• Only say true things about products, prices, delivery and discounts.
• Do not bid on "Sokofa" or similar terms in search adverts, post your link on coupon, voucher or cashback sites, send spam, or use your link in a way that hides where it goes.
• Do not use Sokofa's name or logo in a way that suggests you are Sokofa.

6. Pausing and ending

Sokofa may pause or close a partner account, or close the programme, at any time. Accounts where a large share of orders are cancelled or refunded are paused automatically while we check them. If we close your account for breaking these terms, commission not yet paid may be withheld. Otherwise, commission you have already earned will still be paid under these terms. You can stop taking part at any time by emailing support@sokofa.com.

7. Your information

We use your account and bank details only to run the programme and pay you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We never share buyers' personal details with partners.
