This Shipping Policy explains where we ship, how shipping costs are calculated, and what you can expect after placing an order.
Where We Ship
- United Kingdom: Full shipping available for all product categories, including food items
- Worldwide: Shipping is available for non-food items, such as clothing, art, crafts, and beauty products
Due to import restrictions and health regulations, food items are only shipped within the UK.
Shipping Carriers and Options
We offer flexible delivery options depending on the product type and weight:
- DHL: Fast, trackable express delivery
- Sea Freight: Cost-effective option for large or heavy orders
- Local Carriers: Verified national couriers for regional fulfilment in Nigeria and other seller countries
The appropriate option will be automatically selected at checkout based on your order size and destination.
Shipping Costs
- Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on product weight, dimensions, destination, and shipping method
- Sellers are not allowed to add extra shipping fees
- Shipping costs are transparent and displayed before you complete your order
Sellers are responsible for providing accurate weight and size information. If incorrect data results in extra costs, the seller will cover the difference, not the buyer.
Delivery Guarantee
Sokofa is responsible for managing shipping and tracking from the seller to your door. We ensure:
- Reliable packaging
- Doorstep delivery
- Access to tracking where available
- Customer support in case of delays or delivery issues
Customs and Import Duties
- International customers may be subject to customs charges or import taxes, depending on the laws of their country
- These fees are not included in your order total and must be paid by the recipient upon delivery
- Sokofa is not responsible for delays caused by customs or unpaid charges
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, we’ll email you a tracking link if one is available. You can also contact support@sokofa.com for updates or help locating a delivery.
Missed Deliveries or Lost Parcels
If your package is delayed, missing, or delivered to the wrong address:
- Contact us within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery
- We will investigate with the carrier and, where appropriate, offer a replacement or refund
